Solution: A design technology center that enhances, yet blends with the existing Edgewater facility, while providing the new space for the Cooking Research Division. Parkview Atrium Challenge: To design a contemporary structure that would not be visually dated to the period in which it was built. Solution: Brick and glass, two timeless materials, set in broad horizontal bands to give the structure a look that is both simple and modern.
